Dog Barks at Coffin during Funeral, Suspicious Son Opens It and Finds It Empty – Story of the Day

Ryan gets suspicious when his dog races into the church and starts barking at his father’s coffin. Seeing the dog in an alert position, Ryan opens the casket, only to find his father’s body missing.

Ryan climbed out of the car and stood outside the church, knowing he wasn’t ready to say goodbye to his father. “We couldn’t even give Dad a proper funeral,” he thought. Suddenly, Bella’s sharp bark distracted him.

Ryan turned to his car, where Bella was more agitated than usual.

“Bella!” He gave her a hand signal to lie down, and she obeyed. He patted her head through the open car window. “Now, stay, Bella.”

Ryan then walked away, ignoring Bella’s whine, and entered the church. His father Arnold’s casket was already in place, closed, and the funeral director had discretely cordoned off the immediate area because Arnold had died of an infectious disease.

Ryan managed to slip past airport security and make his way to the boarding area, but the police quickly began their search. They arrested a woman, but Ryan soon realized she wasn’t the one he was looking for. Miss Pearson was still missing.

Determined, Ryan tracked down a figurine collector, Mr. Frederick, who demanded $750,000 for a rare piece. Desperate, Ryan arranged to sell part of his company shares, knowing he’d buy them back soon. Mr. Stevens, his advisor, was concerned but agreed to help.

With the money in hand, Ryan bought the figurine, then headed to an auction house where the figurine would be sold. As the bidding began, Ryan hoped his father, Arnold, would recognize it. When the price reached $1 million, Arnold revealed himself, but before he could leave, Detective Bradshaw arrested him.

Ryan confronted his father about faking his own death and betraying the family. Arnold admitted he wanted to start a new life with Miss Pearson. As Arnold was taken away, Ryan felt a mix of anger and relief, knowing his father’s actions had finally caught up with him.
