Shocking autopsy findings: Gene Hackman and his wife show no visible external injuries—mystery deepens!

Autopsies have been completed on Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog, who were found dead in their $3.8 million Santa Fe home.

Authorities found no external trauma on the bodies, though the cause of death remains unclear. A toxicology report is still awaited.

Gene’s daughter, Leslie Anne Hackman, had speculated that they may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. However, after testing, the Santa Fe City Fire Department and New Mexico Gas Company confirmed the house was safe, with no issues found in the gas line.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza stated there were no signs of external trauma in the couple’s deaths. Further investigation continues.
