Passerby Who Killed Man Attacking Cop Learns His Fate
A bystander who shot and killed a man assaulting a Florida sheriff’s deputy will not face criminal charges.
Ashad Russell, 35, was officially cleared by the State Attorney’s Office, according to the Daily Mail. Russell intervened when he saw Edward Strother attacking Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy Dean Bardes on Interstate 75.
