OMG… CLASSIC CHERRY DELIGHT
Top with Cherry:
4 cups of cherry jam
sugar, half a cup
half a cup of water
lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
1/3 cup cornstarch
Cracker Crust with Graham:
twenty-four Graham Crackers
Melted salted butter, 3/4 cup
Two tablespoons of sugar
Layer of Cream:
1 cup of heavy cream for whipping
sugar, half a cup
vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
1 tub of mascarpone
sugar, half a cup
What to do:
Chop some cherries and toss them with some sugar, water, lemon juice, and cornstarch for a cherry topping. Prior to simmering, bring to a boil. Leave to cool in the refrigerator for at least one and a half hours.
To make the crust, heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit earlier. Press the mixture into a 9×13 pan, mix in the crackers, butter, and sugar, and bake for 10 minutes.
Mash together the cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to make the cream layer. After cream cheese and sugar have been mixed, fold in the whipped topping. Top with the filling.
Last Step: Top Cream Layer with Cherry Sauce. Enjoy chilled.
“Cook the cherry topping until thickened,” the writing says, and “whip the cream mixture until it forms stiff peaks,” so you know it will have the right consistency. “Wow your guests” with your “homemade cherry delight,” which you can savor.
