The first time the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has left Windsor since her recent stomach surgery is when she left the palace. She spent the better part of two weeks in the hospital after her procedure at the London Clinic last month. The normal tight-lippedness from the royal family means that few details regarding her illness have leaked out.
Kate took refuge in her Windsor family home while health rumors swirled around her, hoping to recuperate away from the scrutiny of the public. A trusted friend has now said that she is “on the mend,” which bodes well for her health. During the half-term break, Kate and her family intend to visit Sandringham, which will provide a change of scenery and an opportunity to unwind.
