College Singers Elevate Josh Groban’s Hit to New Heights with Acapella Mastery
BYU’s Vocal Point has reimagined Josh Groban’s 2003 hit, “You Raise Me Up,” with their acapella rendition, adding new depth and emotion. Founded in 1991 by Dave Boyce and Bob Ahlander, this nine-member group quickly became a campus favorite and earned national recognition, including a fifth-place finish on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” and a record deal with Decca Gold.
